Important: Before we agree to sell this motor; Please send us a photo of the gate you wish to automate with this motor. We need a photo where we can see the whole gate (closed) in one shut. We will only accept your order once we saw the photo and consider the motor to be suitable. This is to avoid possible problems at an early stage.
This motor is often used to replace an old motor unit faulty motor. If you had a different brand or model you better check the distance from the ground to the top of the cog of your old motor and compare it to the cog hight of this motor unit. Cog height from gound to top cog is 92mm (no steel base) and 122mm including teel base. It is relatively easy to get the motor a bit higher up but not so easy to lower it.
For this motor you need ither 230VAC at the gate or 24VAC in case you already have a low voltage cable from an previous installation. You can upgrade to the DIY option if you want to plug in the transformer at a nearby power point.
This is a quality motor with all metal gear. They don't make them much better! The rigid aluminum cast motor chassis will last for years.
You can wire low voltage systems yourself and this can save you a lot of money.
