This model of the PT350 includes a separate transformer housed in its own case. You have the convenience of plugging the transformer into the nearest power outlet. From there, you can extend a low voltage cable to the gate by yourself. The flexibility of low voltage cables allows for placement in any location, unlike 230VAC cables which require underground installation.
